Welcome to my website!
My name is Nicholas Lawrence and I offer Engine Tuning, Vehicle Diagnostics, Software Development, 3rd Party Remote Remapping, and am available (freelance) for Trackday Racetrack events and driver training at the Nürburgring. I also create 'trap' hip hop instrumentals and you can find out more under the //STUDIO tab link above. I buy, refurbish and re-sell tablet computers under the //TABS link. There are also several car reviews if you click the //REVIEWS tab and scroll to whichever manufacturer is of interest. Nürburg is a beautiful place to visit; a Mecca for motoring lovers and enthusiasts. Germany on the whole is a beautiful country with easy access to France, Belgium and the Netherlands, making it a great base for exploring Europe. A driving tour from England is a great way to explore these countries; send an email if you are interested in travelling with a group from the UK (2 cars minimum). I have packages available that include accomodation, lap tickets, a full Nürburgring tour and excursions to places such as Phantasialand for the rollercoaster rides; a day out in Köln and Bonn before the track opens, and another day out in a city such as Koblenz or Frankfurt, depending on the time schedule. I first visited Germany in June 2016 and was addicted. I have an accident free record giving Circuit Guidance, and have a zero accident accountability. This cannot be said for any other 'coach' at the Nürburgring. I take driving the track very seriously and have a strict method for getting on and off without incident. Autumn 2023 will be my last full time season at the ring so I can focus on my own work, and try to help my father who is getting older. I have had a great run and it has been an experience that I will remember forever. If you would like a coach or taxi driver for trackday events from 2024 onwards, I am available for private events at the Nürburgring. Coaching during Touristenfahrten is illegal and against the law in Germany. If you are offered a coach during the TF sessions they are breaking the law so don't get caught! I have participated in coaching when working with some rental companies, and after being restricted, then several emails back and forth with the Nürburgring, they reinstated my account and gave me written permission saying it is 100% fine for me to give coaching, guidance and also drive taxi laps during private events only. My main work since 2006 has been the study and modification of Software in Cars and Vans, namely Stage 1, Stage 2 and other types of software adjustment. I offer this service for Garages and Mobile Tuners across the United Kingdom, Europe and America. Several companies offer Engine Tuning under their own brand or promote the ''//'' or ''//ON CARS Remapping'' as a Franchise. We all use the Kess Remapping Tool - Flashtec CMD - ABRITES AVDI - Bit Box - PCM Flash - VCDS and a few others. WinOLS is the software for modifying the data along with extensive research with staff at main dealer garages. I am available for software modification seven days a week. I want to focus on postal remapping or what is known as ''bench tuning'' in the UK. This is when the ECU is removed and handed or posted to me so I can do the work quietly and without distraction. I have been suffering from high blood pressure but it seems to be better lately. There are plently of guys with remapping tools for tuning people's cars, and I step in for any difficult programming where the ECU has to be removed from the vehicle. You will notice some additional tabs on the website. I have expanded the ''//'' idea with tablet computer sales, music production and every winter I do a hoodie collection.
